Initial Comments:
A bed capacity decrease was processed in this office on December 19, 2023, for an effective date of January 1, 2024. The bed capacity decrease changes the bed complement from six (6) ICF/IID certified beds to five (5) ICF/IID certified beds. The bedroom affected by the bed decrease is as follows:
Bedroom #3, which is a one (1) bed bedroom, will decrease by one (1) bed, resulting in zero (0) beds. Bedrooms #1, #2, #4, #5, and #6 will remain unchanged with each having a capacity of one (1) bed.
Merakey AVS Branchton facility remained in compliance with the Requirements of 42 CFR, Part 483, Subpart I Regulations for Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
